How does Saturday Sweets work?

As a potential Saturday Sweets grantee, you submit a short project grant application for consideration by the listed deadline.  Your application will be reviewed by the Revival Arts Collective, and if selected, you will be invited to present your project for voting at the next Saturday Sweets event.  If your project is selected by popular vote the night of the Saturday Sweets event, you walk home with that evening’s available grant money.  You then return to the next Saturday Sweets event to update guests on the progress, outcomes, and impact of your funded project.

As a Saturday Sweets guest, you make a small cash donation to receive dessert and a ballot.  Over the course of the evening, you will network with other guests, as well as listen to project presentations by previous Saturday Sweets grantees and current applicants.  At the end of the night, you cast a vote for which creative project should receive the evening’s proceeds.  The winning project is funded directly from the total collected donations.
